Kathy and I met at Essex Uni 1970-1973 where we were close friends along with Lynda. We all went on jaunts together to visit mutual friends including friends on Mersea Island. Kathy encouraged me to play a rabbit in the campus production of Wind in the Willows where I had a whole sentence to speak. Kathy would also call me over to her flat in Tawny Residential block for a couple of hours on a Sunday morning for a chat. Following Essex, Kathy would come to Sheffield with Alex for the annual Snooker Championships. Over a pint at the nearby pub Kathy and I would catch up on our news and reminisce while Alex attended the Crucible. Kathy was full of life and happiness and will be sorely missed.
